It is what we believe as a Iglesia De Fe and give meaning to our institution. Each of them is grounded in the sacred scriptures.

These are our four pillars in IDF

Doctrinal Points

We believe in one God

Creator of all things, Holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in unity of love in three equal Divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Juan 17:3, Apoc. 4:11, Rom 1:1; 15:16, 2 Cor 11:7, 1 Pedro 1:20

We believe that God
created Adam and Eve

We believe that God created Adam and Eve in his image, but they sinned and were tempted by Satan. In union with Adam, all human beings are sinners by nature and by choice, and therefore have separated themselves from God, being under his wrath. Only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ can we be redeemed, reconciled and renewed.

Gén 1:26, Rom 5:1; 12, Tito 3:3-7

We believe that Jesus
Christ shed his blood

We believe that Jesus Christ, as our representative and substitute, shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, and totally sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His death and victorious resurrection are the only basis for salvation.

Hechos 4:12, Col 1:20, Rom 6:5, Ti 3:5-7

We believe that God has spoken in the scriptures

We believe that God has spoken in the Scriptures, both in the Old and New Testaments, through human authors. As the inspired Word of God, the Bible has no error in the original language in which it was written.

2 Timoteo 3:16-17, 2 Pedro 1:19-21

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man. A Person with two natures, Jesus the Messiah promised to Israel.

Juan 1:1, Heb 1:3; 8; 9:24, 1 Cor 15:3-4

We believe in the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit, in everything he does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convinces the world of his guilt, regenerates the sinner, and in Him people are baptized in union with Christ and adopted as heirs into the family of God.

Juan 14:26; 16:7-14

We believe that God’s justifying grace should not be separated from His sanctifying power and purpose. God commands us to love Him supremely and others sacrificially, and to live our faith with compassion for others, compassion for the poor, and justice for the oppressed

Hechos 4:12, Col 1:20, Rom 6:5-6, Tito 3:5-7

We believe that grace should not be separated from its power and purpose

We believe that the church comprises everyone who has been justified by God’s grace through faith alone and in Christ alone. They have been united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the head.

Hechos 2, Efesios 1:22, Colosenses 1:18

We believe that the church understands him who has been justified
We believe that God has ordained all

We believe that God has ordained everyone, all over the world, to believe in the gospel through repentance and through receiving the Lord Jesus Christ.

Juan 5:28-29, 1 Cor 15, Ap 20:6

Creemos en el retorno de Jesucristo

We believe in a personal, bodily and pre-millennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hechos 1:11, 1 Cor 15:51-52, 1 Tes 4:16-18, Tito 2:13-14
